The leak
A website that was published before it was finished.
An empty published page is worse than no page at all.
Finish Pro Painting had already made the right moves: a real domain, WordPress with the Breakdance builder, and a menu organized into residential, commercial and repairs and specialty services. The skeleton of a proper contractor site was there.
What sat behind the menu was the problem. Most of the published pages had no content. A visitor who clicked Cabinet Painting or Drywall Repair got a blank screen and called the next painter, and Google crawled the blanks too.
It’s the abandoned-build pattern we see constantly: started right, never finished, quietly costing jobs. The fix wasn’t a redesign. It was finishing the site that was already there, in the fonts and colors it launched with.
