Contractor marketing

that brings in jobs you want to bid.

The best contractor doesn’t always win the job. The one a homeowner or property manager finds first, and trusts on sight, does. We build the site, the local search and the ads you own, so the work comes to you instead of through a lead app that sells the same homeowner to your competitors.

Where contractor jobs leak

Great on the tools. Invisible when someone’s comparing bids.

A homeowner or property manager searches, shortlists two or three companies and asks for a number. A contractor loses that job at four points, and none of them are about the quality of the work.

  • 01

    Rented leads

Lead apps sell the same homeowner to several contractors, and the job goes to whoever called back first.

  • 02

    One page for everything

Roofing, drywall and painting on one services page, so none of them can rank for its own search.

  • 03

    No clear next step

A contact form buried at the bottom, so the person ready to ask for a number calls someone else.

  • 04

    A scope nobody can see

The site never says what you won’t take, so the calls that come in are for jobs you didn’t want to bid.

Sound familiar?

The phone rings. It’s another job you don’t want.

  1. Monday, 7am

“Three leads from the app overnight. Everyone else got them too.”

  2. Estimating on Wednesday

“Two days pricing a job we were never going to win.”

  3. A property manager on the phone

“We couldn’t find you online, so we went with the other bid.”

  4. Later

“Maybe we just need more leads.”

You don’t need more leads. You need the right ones to find you.

AGP Construction’s site gives every service its own page, every city its own page, and one next step everywhere: request a bid. It also says plainly what AGP won’t take, so the bids that come in are ones worth writing.

Say what you won’t take. The jobs that still call are the ones you want.

How it works

Five steps, in this order.

  1. 01

    The 30-minute call

We look at your website, your local search and your tracking, and you leave with a ranked fix list whether or not you hire us.

  2. 02

A scoped plan with a fixed number

What’s costing you jobs gets fixed first, and you get a real number for it. No retainer creep.

  3. 03

    The foundation, built in order

Website, local SEO and ads, built so each one makes the next work harder.

  4. 04

    Launch with tracking

Call and form tracking goes live with the site, so every lead is measurable from day one.

  5. 05

Grow it, or run it yourself

Keep us for ongoing growth, or take the documentation and run it forward. Either way, it’s in your name.

Proof, before the pitch

Real evidence should survive an incognito window.

Result one

A Troy med spa we relaunched, already winning its market.

Rêve came to AlbaTech for a full relaunch. We rebuilt the site, the local-search foundation and the review engine together, and the treatments people actually search for now surface the business.

  • First web result under the map, and it holds that spot every time we check
  • In the map pack too, highest rated of the three at 5.0 from 111 reviews
  • Also in the pack for botox troy and laser hair removal troy
Google results for med spa troy showing Rêve Medical Spa second in the map pack with a 5.0 rating from 111 reviews
Rêve is the first web result for the search, and the best rated business on the page. Run the search yourself. That’s the whole point.

Result two

Our own studio, first for “microblading Michigan”.

Fine Strokes is our own studio. We built the website and the local search setup around the service customers actually search for. We ran the method on our own business before we sold it to anyone.

Fine Strokes ranks first in the captured result. The screenshot is the proof, not a made-up dashboard.

What’s included

Six pieces, built around how jobs get awarded.

Homeowners and property managers hire on trust: photos of real work, reviews, a clear scope and how fast you answer.

Website

A bid-first site

Real project photos, your service area, and request a bid as the next step on every page.

Pages

A page for each service and city

Each trade and each town you work in gets its own page, the way AGP’s site covers 12 services and 8 cities.

Local

Found for the searches that hire

Your Google Business Profile, citations and service-area pages, so the homeowner searching for your trade finds you before a lead app does.

Ads

Leads you own

Google and Meta campaigns that send the call to you alone, with tracking on every one.

Reviews

A review engine

A simple way to turn finished jobs into the reviews the next homeowner reads before calling.

Ownership

Yours from day one

Built, documented and handed over in your name. Keep us for management or run it yourself, with no lock-in.

The rules

Three rules we keep for every contractor.

They cost us easy work, and we keep them anyway.

  • Order

    The site before the ads

Ads pointed at a site that can’t convert burn the budget, so the site gets fixed first.

  • Honesty

    No rebuild you don’t need

About 1 in 5 of the sites we review end with us telling the owner not to rebuild.

A commercial contractor in Madison Heights

Twelve services, eight cities, one next step.

AGP Construction does office and retail build-outs and multi-family renovation across Metro Detroit, and self-performs seven trades. Its site, which we built, gives every service and every city its own page and puts request a bid on every one. It also says what AGP won’t do: no ground-up, and no working under another contractor.

  • 26 pages in its live sitemap
  • 12 service pages and 8 city pages
  • Request a bid on every page, no email to chase
  • What AGP won’t take, stated on the site

There are no lead numbers on this card, because we only publish numbers we can show you.

Common questions

About contractor marketing.

How much does contractor marketing cost?+

It depends on the piece. A website or local SEO build runs $2,500 to $8,000 and up, one-time, scoped to your business and how competitive your market is. Ad setup runs $1,500 to $3,000 for one platform, or $3,000 to $5,000 and up for Google and Meta together, with the ad budget separate. You get a fixed number on the call, never an open-ended retainer.

Should I cancel HomeAdvisor or Angi?+

Not on day one. Keep them while the foundation gets built, then compare what a lead costs from each once your own site and profile are producing. The leads from your own site and ads don’t get sold to anyone else.

Do you work with every type of contractor?+

We work with residential and commercial trades. AGP Construction, a commercial contractor in Madison Heights, and Finish Pro Painting, a painter in Rochester Hills, are both clients. We’ll tell you on the call whether we’re a fit for your trade.

How long until the calls come in?+

A single-service build usually takes 4 to 8 weeks. Map pack movement often appears within 60 to 90 days of a proper build, and organic shifts typically take 3 to 6 months. Ads can bring calls sooner, but only once tracking and a page built for them are in place.

Can I start with just a website or just SEO?+

Yes. Plenty of contractors start with the website or local SEO and add ads later. We’ll tell you which one brings in work first.

Is this right for a business that’s just getting started?+

Not yet. If you’re just getting started and capital is tight, or you want something cheap and quick, we’re not the right call, and there are people who serve those needs well. What we build is for owners who already treat marketing as a budgeted line item and want it spent where it compounds.

What we turn down

We’ll tell you to fix the site before we sell you ads.

  • No ads pointed at a site that can’t convert
  • No campaign without conversion tracking
  • No rebuild when the current site is fine
  • No recommendation based on the easiest service to sell

The ownership promise

No hostage accounts. No mystery handoff.

Your ad accounts, website, analytics, data and documentation stay in your name. If we stop working together, nothing gets held over you.
